During lockdown, in April 2020, it became painfully clear that in-person networking for financial advisors was impractical, limited and not how the majority of people suddenly expected to meet their advisors. How did they want to meet? Online, like practically everything else. That’s when we decided the time was ripe to bring our technique of integrating a SafeTank online. SafeTank is a tool that we have used for nearly two decades with high/ultra high net worth clients because of it's many benefits: no volatility, competitive returns, tax free (advantaged) access to capital, liquidity guaranteed. In fact, at Dumont Wealth we built a portfolio of over $110,000,000 allocated to our SafeTank design for clients. Yet we believed that if given the opportunity, millions more people, "Money Maximizers" as we call them, would surely love to own SafeTanks. The question was would technology support our endeavor? Research on this project was slow. It meant finding qualified, capable and enthusiastic technology partners to help us both assess and ultimately build the platform. After a series of unsuccessful bids for our technology partner, we were fortunate to meet two brilliant partners who, when we explained our vision, were eager to join us and did so, confirming our fervent wish that it is possible to build the platform to bring SafeTank to millions. Yet there were still other elements to bringing the Gondola SafeTank to fruition that were essential. One was finding a talented marketing expert, with the capacity to translate the client/advisor experience from in-person to online. The second was the realization that for Gondola, seeing is believing. Therefore, we decided that rather than spending time selling investors on the Gondola SafeTank, we would just continue selling SafeTanks and remain privately held.Finally, Gondola teamed up with a creative TV production company, New To The Street, to launch a series of news and educational segments and commercials, bringing the Gondola SafeTank into millions of homes across America. That is how the Gondola SafeTank is fast becoming a household name.
