I have extensive U.S. and international experience as a recognized expert in process safety and occupational health, safety and environmental management with a large number of successful projects in the oil and gas (upstream and downstream), marine, paper and pulp, chemical, heavy manufacturing, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industries. In addition, I have a successful record of leading and managing high profile / high value loss incident investigations involving process related explosions and fires, combustible dust fires and explosions, occupational injuries and fatalities, equipment failures, human factors / errors, and engineering failures. A significant part of my litigation support practice involves loss of life and major disabling injury incidents as well as industrial fires and explosions. I have led and managed multiple “mega-loss” process safety related incident investigations involving major loss of life, $500M+ asset loss and impairment, and intense regulatory and public scrutiny.
