The broad technologist brings a lot of insight that reaches across and beyond projects and yields better results.Brian has been blogging since 2008 at HTTP://ITProctology.blogspot.com and was first awarded the Microsoft MVP for Hyper-V in 2009 which was continually renewed in to 2019. Brian brings his application and systems background to F5 / NGINX where he is helping to shape the next versions of NGINX Ingress Controller. He was also specifically focused on automation and ecosystem integrations with the many tools that customers use.Brian entered the Citrix Labs team as a test engineer and has advanced to his latest role as PM. Bringing a customer focused test methodology to the team and a focus on systems and integrations. Work with Azure began in 2011 with XenApp and NetScaler, 100s of projects.He has been part of many v1 integrations including; XenDesktop for SCVMM, Project Kensho OVF Tool, Dynamic Virtual Channels, Desired State Configuration resource providers, SCVMM Service Templates, Azure Pack Gallery Items, Azure Resource Manager Templates, Azure AD and Citrix Cloud, Azure networking and isolation models, Service Provider models in Azure, machine provisioning improvements, and other work that can be found on GitHub (BrianEhlert).Brian has always viewed problems as opportunities, a long history of asking questions and aligning projects with needs.
