I function as a team member on different Critical Care units(ICU, CCU, NCU) and their stepdown telemetry units(7 units total).

I work in ER, ICU and Telemetry step down units throughout the state of Michigan. This is done on a per diem or contract basis. I am expected to orient quickly and function at a high level of competency immediatly thereafter.

Staff nurse, with patient loads of 1-10 in a fast paced and changing environment. Responsiblities included triage and identification of appropriate care of patients from assessment to discharge/admission, ages 0-100+. Chair/ founder of clinical practice committe and resposible for chart review and inventory control. New staff trainer and charge nurse.

Charge nurse and new staff trainer of ED with yearly volume of nearly 50,000. Member of facility wide Clinical Practice Committee. Chair/founding member of ED Journal Club. Member of ED chart review committee. In these capacities was a driver for clinical policy change and implementation.

General Manager of 2 different stores. Responsible for all functions of unit including staffing of 25-40 employees and employee development. Daily inventory control and weekly Profit and Loss statements.
