Background in IT strategy, program and project management, enterprise IT architecture, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure and applications, service development and management, conflict resolution and business process improvement. Currently leads a dedicated team responsible for the cross-functional leadership of network services (data/voice), identity management, security operations, IT risk, research technology services and the Capital Area Advanced Research and Education Network (CAAREN). In this role, he oversees strategy, operations, change management, training, governance, and project planning for those key areas.CAAREN and GW's research infrastructure services provide high performance computing, support for advance scientific workflows and regulated data environments, SmartCities and regional sensor infrastructures, and cyber range and science gateway capabilities for both local and regional research partners.
