Brian's experience started as a programmer and computer systems consultant. In 1990, Brian founded and operated a consulting company, helping clients design and implement information management systems in a variety of industries including health care, insurance and securities. During law school, Brian gained invaluable experience working under Justice Charles Ramos of the New York State Supreme Court Commercial Division and with the New York Stock Exchange Enforcement Division.At Folkenflik & McGerity, a boutique Manhattan firm, Brian specialized in securities law, corporate law, and complex litigation. He has represented clients in state and federal courts, and before the NASD, the New York Stock Exchange, and the American Arbitration Association. In 2002, Brian joined BIA as a founder, bringing his experience in business, technology and the law to help create one of the top providers in the industry. Since joining BIA, he has taught and consulted on topics ranging from computer forensics and electronic discovery to electronic policy and information management. He has worked with a wide variety of systems, including legacy systems, complex database systems and various enterprise computing environments.
