I am a graduate nursing student seeking new graduate positions from California Baptist University. My love for nursing started when I was a Volunteer Champion at CHOC working in the playrooms as I saw the relationships and interactions nurses had with their patients. Throughout nursing school I have seen the joy and trials that patients go through and it is amazing to be apart of their journey to getting back to their normal live’s. Throughout nursing school I have gained many diverse experiences in different hospital settings of medical/surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, community health, emergency department, medical ICU, and cardiovascular ICU. Throughout nursing school I as well worked in a Level 1 Emergency Department as a nursing assistant throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to learn and gain more experience for my future as a registered nurse. I have experience working in high pressure, fast paced environments, while providing effective communication to ensure patient safety. I am involved in Unit Practice Council within my department because I wanted to make a difference in how we are treating our patients, improve patient flow, and seek new ideas on how we can improve our patient care. I am an enthusiastic, compassionate, and adaptable worker that takes pride in his time management, quick learning, and safety that I provide towards my patients. In my new graduate residency program, I will remain driven to utilize my clinical knowledge and to provident the utmost care for my patients.
