I advocated for homeowners for banks to avoid foreclosure. I successfully closed 20 short sales. I represented borrowers at Meet and Confers pursuant to the Deeds of Trust Act.

Worked as a Rule 9 Legal Intern at a small insurance subrogation firm. I drafted summons and complaints, motions for default judgment, demands for arbitration, offers of settlement, interrogatories, requests for admissions, and a motion for summary judgment. In addition I argued motions, interviewed witnesses, attended depositions, responded to discovery requests, and researched legal issues related to insurance subrogation.

I worked as a research assistant for Professor Brooke Coleman at Seattle University School of Law. I drafted and edited chapters for a civil procedure textbook as well as researched corroborating case law for citations used in scholarly articles.

I worked as a research assistant for Professor Deborah Ahrens. For her article regarding cyberbullying, I conducted a nationwide comparative analysis of individual state laws and regulations regarding cyberbullying, and tracked pending cyberbullying legislation.

I worked as a caller for the Elon Phonathon, an organization that calls Elon alumni in order to solicit donations for the university. I was promoted to shift supervisor and later promoted again to student manager. My duties included managing approximately forty student callers, three student supervisors, training new student callers, and coming up with programs to maintain employee morale.

I worked for the Elon University Poll and conducted telephone surveys of citizens in the Southeastern United States about political issues. I later wrote polling questions, helped edit the survey instrument, and analyzed poll results. In addition, I analyzed survey data, prepared and presented a written report of findings to the Alamance County Chamber of Commerce.
