Research FellowUniversity Of Washington Oct 2023 - PresentSeattle, Washington, United StatesResearch Fellow and Postdoctoral Scholar (2023-2025) in the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance and affiliated to the University of Washington's Ocean Nexus Center (working with Yoshi Ota and Grant Blume). Bringing to bear my unique perspective as a sociologist of environmental problems, my work has been involved in grasping the complex questions of (in)equity and (in) justice in society, specifically in coastal and ocean regions, because these "frontier zones" of climate change and political struggle are at the same time, profoundly ecological, but also social. Currently, I am leading research on the topics of desalination and offshore wind energy, with special focus on social (in)equity in these sectors. -
