This set of services allowed the purchase of digital content, such as Kindle books, MP3s, videos, ebooks/pdfs, downloadable software, etc from Amazon. The system is highly scalable, high performance, and has a goal of multiples 9s of uptime. I primarily spent time writing code, developing object oriented designs, and establishing an architecture for new pieces of the system.

I set up real time monitoring and alarming for a financial system. This provided immediate alerts when errors were detected, allowing developers to quickly apply themselves to correct the problems.

I wrote an application to insert scanned pages into an Oracle database using C++ and the Oracle Call Interface.
