Zo richtte ik mij binnen de Politie eenheid Limburg en Slachtofferhulp Nederland op de kwetsbare en ernstige psychiatrische cliënten (die vaak tussen wal en schip vielen). Tenslotte was ik therapeut in het zorgteam van een middelbare school waar ik jongeren hielp met psychische problemen en hiermee verzuim te voorkomen.Zonder vooroordelen en met veel enthousiasme en motivatie werk ik samen met de cliënt aan een het herstel van psychische klachten en een gezonder leven. Ik ben opgeleid vanuit de aanpak van de cliëntgerichte psychotherapie, een aanpak die bij mij past als mens en als therapeut. Sinds 2015 geef ik preventie voorlichtingen over Sexting, seksueel misbruik en seksuele vorming, op middelbare scholen, zowel aan ouders als scholieren van alle leeftijden. Met deze voorlichtingen ben ik gestart vanuit mijn de Politie waar ik met de jeugd- en schoolagenten een project opgezet en uitgevoerd in 2015 en 2016 gericht op slachtoffers seksueel misbruik en sexting.Ten tijde van voornoemde werkplekken, werkte ik van 2017-2020 in de uitvaartzorg, een betekenisvolle werkplek waarbij ik mij voornamelijk bezig hield met de uitvaartzorg bij kinderuitvaarten en uitvaartzorg na politiemeldingen. Tenslotte was ik bij deze organisatie verantwoordelijk voor personeelszaken en de aansturing van personeel.Ik werk sinds 2019 als erkend en geregistreerd psychosociaal therapeut vanuit mijn eigen praktijk in Landgraaf, Limburg. De behandelingen worden door de meeste zorgverzekeraars vanuit het aanvullend pakket vergoed. Deze therapie is gebaseerd op de persoonsgerichte psychotherapie en diens grondbeginselen.
