As a seasoned innovation professional, I am a passionate and results-oriented senior innovation advisor with a strong background in strategy, business development, and international expansion. I currently work at Innovation Canada, part of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), where I help growing Canadian businesses access the key government services they need to thrive in a competitive and dynamic global market. I believe in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and leveraging my diverse perspectives and experiences to create positive impact for the Canadian economy and society.In my current role, I provide innovation-based companies with a dedicated advisor, a plan of potential private and public programs and services, and connections to the right partners to support their growth, particularly in dynamic sectors such as SaaS, Healthtech, and MedTech. I also advise startups on their strategy and international and domestic expansion plans. Previously, I was the VP of Business Development, Growth and Innovation at Colleaga, where I led the development and implementation of a platform that enabled healthcare institutions to solve their wicked challenges through structured and managed innovation programs. In these roles, I have demonstrated my skills in strategic negotiations, international expansion, and growth and innovation.
