In the end, Brian is a "story teller"... be it the story of who we are, the story of your business, or the story of the century that lays before us.As a very early Internet adopter (early 80's), Brian was experimenting in the digital world of Archie, Gopher, and Fidonet long before Tim Berners-Lee of CERN introduced the World Wide Web in late1991. Brian's first website went live in 1993. Instrumental in making the Canadian Association of Photographers & Illustrators one of the first arts organizations in the world with a full web presence. As a commercial photographer he worked with high-tech and aerospace clients such as SPAR Aerospace, Marconi, Boeing Canada, Bell Northern, and Prior Data Sciences illustrating technologies as diverse as communications satellites, space station technology, and military and commercial radars and communication technology. As an appointed member of the Canadian Government's Consultative Committee on Copyright during the early 1990's (part of the Information Highway Advisory Committee), and as Canadian representative on the Consultative Committee on Copyright and the Pacific Rim Photography Congress he staked out positions and strategies for Intellectual Property in the 21st Century.In 1999 he co-founded SpineUniverse.com which brought clinicians, patients, and education together on the web to improve care and outcomes. He has served on faculty at:Advances in Brain and Spine Surgery - St Petersburg, Russia. American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting (AANS-CNS)Currently, his primary interest is the application of web technology to communications in the medical field.
