Regional Sales ManagerWestel Long Distance 1989 - 1996My professional experience with Westel included many areas in sales and management as a result of three promotions. My regional management duties spanned the last two years of my tenure, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales. The experiences obtained included starting an entire sales organization and territory from scratch, and maintaining and growing a base of revenue to meet and exceed company forecasted goals. Additionally, experiences with sales process management and reporting, employee relations, training and development, staffing, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, and regional P&L responsibility were obtained.
