New Mexico Gas Company split from PNMR (see below) in 2009.Working from home, I act as a Lead Developer responsible for maintenance and development of SharePoint 2010 intranet and several external-facing IIS and Unix-based websites. Website applications that I have developed are integrated with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle database and PeopleSoft applications, SCT Banner CIS, SharePoint, Quorum, with many SOA web service connections to external services (e.g. weather, payment processing, credit scoring). Technologies utilized include Unix shell script, HTML/DHTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Ajax and C# in Eclipse and Visual Studio IDEs.Also responsible for leading enterprise-level application installations including Intrusion Detection System (OSSEC IDS/Splunk), security systems, help desk (Request Tracker), web statistical software (WebTrends, Google Analytics), Powerplant, survey software (Qualtrics), Service Suite, Asset Suite, and others.Responsible for installation, maintenance, and security of several Windows Server and Unix-based systems.

SparTech Software is the front-facing entity I use for contract programming and personal commercial software development activities. Applications developed in this area are also used to facilitate learning of new, advanced, upcoming technologies.- Have developed a large variety of commercial application software packages using Visual Basic, Visual C/C++, C#, Perl, PHP, and Java running against MySql, Oracle, and SQL Server database. Applications were distributed through various channels including commercial CD, shareware, and via the Internet. Applications have been featured on America Online, CompuServe, Prodigy, and Ziff-Davis (one was awarded 4-stars in a Ziff-Davis review). Applications have been distributed on CDs in retail stores (one featured on the cover), carried on several major Internet sites, and written/reviewed in magazines in the US and overseas. One application was featured as CNET’s Shareware of the Week (1997).- Have developed and maintained several websites for fun and profit. Some sites have been written about in national level magazines, mentioned in retail books, and featured on commercial video. One site has been distributed on several educational CDs, spotlighted in the American Library Journal twice (1998, 1999), reviewed in the Washington Times (November 1999), received the “Top 10” award from the San Jose Technological Museum of Science and Innovation and prompted an interviewed for the New York Times. More than one site has received buyout bids.- Have developed several Android mobile applications including one that is rated 4.6 on 50,000-100,000 installs from the Google Play market.- Functional areas included digital storefronts, gaming systems, education software, and low-level TCP/IP based applications. Other network related applications developed included email reader/utility, Usenet reader/utility, Web ‘spider’, Web harvester, email delivery system, security monitor, and other low-level network related utilities.

PNM Resources purchased TNMP (see below) in 2005.At PNMR, I developed, maintained, and managed the Texas-based corporate Web sites (three separate sites) and internal intranet using HTML/DHTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, Perl, ASP, Ajax and .Net (VB and C#). Create custom server extensions (dll’s written in C++) when needed. Develop Oracle driven database back-end processes using Oracle packages, procedures, and functions written using PL/SQL. Maintain security and OS performance on a NT/Windows 2000 platform. Responsible for new web based application development (examples include online auction application, web based call support system, customer information systems, online payment systems, business partner portals).

Acted as supervisor over the Web Application Development group. In this role, I supervised a group of 5-7 programmers and contractors, monitored and reported status of their projects, and provided technical assistance and knowledge transfer as needed.
