I'm a web professional with more than 15 years of experience consulting, designing, and building sites and applications for the Web. I learned HTML and CSS in the 90s and have been around for all the major changes in Web. I love to build things to be shared online and have been blessed to do that professionally. My ideas and designs have shaped companies, organizations, and people around the world. I'm currently looking for a position that will allow me to work form anywhere in the world on a permanent or semi-permanent basis. I've worked temporarily from several countries and possess the experience and skills necessary to connect with others and get projects completed remotely.I currently work for an international organization focused on feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and caring for the least of these in societies around the globe. I oversee 8-10 marketers who are responsible for 400+ local websites across an 11 state territory of the US. The bulk of my duties involve CMS training, user management, and working with developers to enhance, stabilize, and improve the CMS platform for a global organization.Over the past 2.5 years have worked on an internal task force of other developers around the organization to assess internal website platform needs, capabilities, and direction for the future. Involved in strategic planning and implementation of a new CMS platform direction for the organization.For 5+ years I worked as a web developer at a top 20 US book publisher. In my role I created bespoke HTML and WordPress sites for major book releases and corporate events/projects. I've designed and developed websites for notable New York Times Bestselling authors, such as Joel Rosenberg, Beth Moore, Tony Dungy, Danielle Walker, and Dr. Daniel Amen. I've been blessed to work with major organizations like Compassion International, Saddleback Church, Baylor University, and The Institute for Bible Reading.Since 2011 I've worked on freelance projects with small businesses and organizations. I love to connect directly with stakeholders and help them get closer to their business goals by building fast, appropriate websites that let them connect with users.
