I am the Director of Government Affairs and Communications for the American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ. I have over 20 years of experience in both corporate and government relations which allow me to build consensus and support for large scale development projects.Throughout my professional career, I have honed a multitude of skills in product branding, corporate communications, legislative lobbying, crisis management, media training, and digital content creation. My expertise in public-policy analysis allows me to deconstruct complex issues and develop strategies to keep projects moving forward. I started my career as a newspaper reporter for the Star-Ledger before becoming a staff member of the Assembly Democratic Office in the New Jersey Legislature. I have held numerous communications and management positions at every level of New Jersey government and the private sector -- most recently as Senior Vice President of MWWPR -- and I continue to work closely with many of the region’s premiere policy makers, elected officials, and esteemed members of the media. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from Rutgers University. I appear frequently as a guest lecturer at Rutgers’ Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. I am a board member of the New Jersey Consumers League, board member of CommercePAC NJ, and board member of the NJ Doctor-Patient Alliance.
