I was attending school at Georgetown Univ. when September 11th happened. I never forgot the image of the Pentagon being hit. Shortly after the war escalated to include the invasion of Iraq I went to join the Army Reserves and wanted to do my part.My first tour was to support logistical operations at one of the largest LSA in theater. We conducted direct soldier support to a few surrounding bases.My second tour was the highlight of my service and felt the greatest contributing impact of the war effort. I actually went to the same base yet again to do logistics support. This time however our team oversaw enormous operations that directly affected the entire theater of IRAQ. It was a very rewarding experience in many ways, and I am so proud to have served to be a part of it.
