Active Directory: Implemented our Microsoft Active Directory, including a flexible and detailed naming schema. Microsoft Exchange: Replaced Novell GroupWise mail servers with Microsoft Exchange and other products, including AppRiver and Barracuda Message Archiver.Virtualization: Migrated existing physical server infrastructure into Microsoft Hyper-V and then into VMWare. Consolidated 50 obsolete servers into new, load balanced, fault tolerant servers.Telephony: Migrated a legacy, analog, hard-wired Nortel phone system to 3Com NBX, Barracuda Cudatel, Microsoft Skype, and finally to Microsoft Teams.Development: Reverse engineered business critical, custom applications written in Wang Basic.
