I am known for advising F500 client leadership as they manage through changes in technology; specifically, providing pragmatic solutions at the intersection of business, product, and technology. I am fortunate to have worked with so many smart people at great companies. I’ve worked in many industries, including Automotive, Retail, Transportation, Online Media, Telecom, High-Tech, Non-profit, Large Utilities, Healthcare, Financial Services, Government, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceuticals. I enjoy solving problems; one of my favorites is discovering a path for how to improve business or technology processes to make clients more resilient and adaptive, and then advising clients on how to walk that path. My first client set the stage for what has become my career: I listened, appreciated the problem, and crafted a solution that removed a major friction point for a larger effort. I've attempted to follow that same approach with all my clients since then - to hear and understand the challenge, offer solid advice on a path to solving that, and follow through with a meaningful solution.I have sold and managed multi-shore engagements across the globe, and have worked with multiple methodologies, including Waterfall (SDLC), RUP, Iterative, SCRUM-XP, Agile, Lean, and Kanban. I have also worked successfully in many roles, including but not limited to: Business Agility Lead, Enterprise/Program Agile Coach, Team Coach, Technology Program / Project Advisor, IT Strategist, Proposal Manager, IT Project Manager, Training Instructor, Solution Architect, and hands-on implementer.I’ve also been a leader in the agile community, having sat on panels at Agile Alliance Conferences and SAFe Summits from 2011 to 2018. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong analytics background, underpinned by my degrees in Mathematics. I developed and facilitated over 20 separate training classes for Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, as well as taught Calculus and Statistics classes at the collegiate level.
