Advised NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) on how to implement Research to Practice initiatives to the Wholesale and Retail Trade sectors. Worked directly with thought and market-leaders of major retail chains (The Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Lowes, RILA,) and other sector stakeholders to communicate evidence-based EHS research trends and best practices as part of NORA (National Occupational Research Agenda). Consulting focus: Strategic Messaging, Business Development Outreach and the NORA Sector Council Conference design.

UpTech is the first Informatics focused, equity-financed Business Accelerator program in the US. I was responsible for naming, branding, strategic messaging, communications, and strategy for the launch and development of the program. I am currently engaged in the next phase of developing out the strategy, for a broader regional cluster of informatics-based companies with business, educational and civic leadership.

I designed and implemented Marketing and Corporate Communication programs in support of strategic Business Development opportunities. I advised senior management, formulated messaging, lead project teams and engaged key clients, stakeholders and thought-leaders in business development opportunities. I also managed and provide creative direction to marketing communication vendor firms (public relations, design/brand, digital web, editorial, photography, print).

Direct strategy and message implementation of all internal and external Corporate Communications: Corporate Branding, Media Relations, Analyst Relations, Investor Relations, Community Relations & Marketing. Creative Director of all content development: Corporate Collateral, White Papers, Case Studies, Events and Thought Leadership Speeches - Articles & Presentations.Responsible for directing vendor relationships – Public Relations Firm, Branding Firms, Design Firms and all other marketing suppliers.
