Husband and father of three beautiful kids. I am the director of geospatial technologies at 1898 & Co. I have nearly two decades of experience providing geospatial consulting services to clients in a variety of industries. I lead a team of highly skilled GIS consultants who help clients around the world be successful with geospatial technologies.I am certified in Esri enterprise system design and system administration, the ArcGIS Utility Network, and have experience managing and working on a range of IT/GIS projects including the implementation of the Cityworks Asset Management System. I am heavily involved in the implementation of GIS technology within utilities, including water, wastewater, stormwater, electric, and telecommunications. As a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner, I work with organizations to help them realize a greater return on investment with technology solutions. Prior to joining 1898 & Co. I worked for Esri on the company’s water and wastewater team, helping water/wastewater utilities across the Country leverage the ArcGIS platform. Before joining the private sector, I was a GIS developer with the nationally recognized Johnson County, Kansas, Automated Information Mapping System. While at Johnson County, Kansas, I worked on a range of GIS projects, including managing the county’s acquisition of digital orthophotography, maintaining datasets stored in the county’s multiuser geodatabase and helped implement web-based GIS applications.We understand that robust solutions need to work in the real world, not just exist on the drawing board. 1898 & Co. is a business, technology and security solutions consultancy where experience and foresight come together to unlock lasting advancements.
