Brian implemented a broad spectrum of standardization, measurable improvement to network design and capability, and procedures that significantly strengthened our overall infrastructure performance. He worked hard and demonstrated strong personal accountability for his work. He was also among the first people in the department to spend the time necessary to ensure that coworkers were properly trained or knowledge was being adequately shared. The characteristic that is most commendable in Brian is his desire to improve, not simply his projects, but himself as well. We have a very challenging environment at Encore Discovery Solutions and as Brian realized the opportunities he faced he analyzed the problems, developed a plan, and implemented change that brought significant improvement to Encore. Equally important though, was Brian's willingness to take on the challenge of acquiring additional skills in the area of VOIP, bringing on improvements of significant measure within only a short time of beginning his study of the discipline. I believe he was able to make significant improvements because of his commitment to do so. This and other valuable characteristics, combined with future potential, should be valuable to any organization interested in developing their staff members. Lastly, Brian is a great teacher and team-member. The employees in our department always knew and understood that they could rely upon Brian for both analytical troubleshooting, and the willingness to instruct them in solving the problems with which they were confronted. Brian is a natural born leader. He is confident and decisive.
