Leader of an I/T cross-functional team to develop and deliver an I/T Integration Plan which will include the identification of critical technology requirements for pre and Day 1 operations, the timeline and implementation plan for key business integration priorities, and the application roadmap for migrating Synthes legacy applications onto the Johnson & Johnson network environment.

Developed Health Information Strategy to drive knowledge from various research data sets.Responsible for the R&D/'QRC functions at the DePuy family of Companies, a leader in the medical device industry.

Responsible for Research, Development, Engineering, HR, Finance, Communications Governance, Compliance and Facilities for the J&J North American Consumer Companies. Board member for global franchises as virtual CIO to business and advocating board needs to Information Management group. Service Delivery Director for application Build and Run functions for North America. Worked with new Corporate CIO developing enterprise IT strategy.

Responsible for setting direction and priority for Drug Discovery Global Information Solutions for North AmericaDeveloped direction for Data Archiving, Data Warehousing, and Chemistry/Biology Electronic Notebooks. Providing oversight for recent small company acquisition around data, tools and technology, and compounds.Steering member of Portfolio Management Group that approves PRD wide major projects for funding and resource allocation. Steering member of Senior Leadership Team for PR&D IM organization.

Project Manager for a large Pharmaceutical Company. Main responsibility is the Compound Registration System (Delphi 4.0, RS3 for Discovery). Manage a team of four developers, and 2 support staff using SUMMIT-D methodology. Developed a project to re-introduce the application to the scientific community. Uncovered and resolved major issues around editing compounds. Engaged as Project Manager for HR Document Imaging System project. Responsible for managing development staff and client relationships, defining business requirements, and Testing requirements, and implementation of enhancements to the system in a production environment.

Served as project manager for business process re-engineering effort at mid-sized pharmaceutical company. Worked with heads of development divisions to optimize processes and better coordinate flow of information through Candidate Selection to Phase II B study milestonesProject manager for database implementation. Responsible for prioritization and organization of the implementation of a multi-stage database for portfolio management. Worked closely with chairperson of Project Management department. Database was implemented on time with definable benefits.

Facilitated process mapping sessions for three departments over 2 months. Developed training material for each department as a result of the output. Developed system architecture for new billing and remittance systems that would support the purchase of insurance and investment products via payroll deduction. Developed proposal for recycling internal resource as a major component to support the new initiative. Presented proposal to senior vice presidents of systems, operations, and marketing. Developed Request for Proposals for outside system vendor. Reviewed several vendors and provided key support to decision-making process. Presented recommendation to Vice President of Systems. Managed “proof of concept” pilot in three states. Provided senior management support as well as training for workers involved in day-to-day activities.
