I am a dedicated student affairs professional with a deep passion for higher education, particularly in student development, leadership, and community engagement. My journey began at the University of Redlands, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with minors in Government and Psychology. Realizing my passion for student affairs, I pursued a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education.I started my career at the University of Redlands, where I worked in Residence Life and Housing and Student Leadership and Involvement for four years. These roles allowed me to impact the student experience by fostering environments for growth, leadership, and success.In 2014, I joined the Art Institute-Inland Empire as the Residential Life Coordinator, where I spent two and a half years managing residential life and developing programs to support student well-being.In 2018, I accepted a position at Loyola Marymount University as a Resident Director in Student Housing. In addition to my housing responsibilities, I advised several student organizations, including Sigma Phi Epsilon, Delta Upsilon, Kappa Alpha Theta, the Ignatians Service Organization, and the National Residence Hall Honorary. These roles allowed me to mentor students in leadership and service.In July 2022, I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to become the Assistant Director for the Office of Student Leadership, Involvement & Community Engagement at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I oversaw 550 student organizations and served as the live-in advisor for Sigma Phi Epsilon.Currently, I serve as the Associate Director for the Center of Student Organizations and Activities at San Diego State University, a role I began in July 2024. I also serve as the Resident Minister for a first-year community at the University of San Diego, starting in August 2024. In these positions, I am committed to fostering student growth and leadership.I am pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at USC’s Rossier School of Education, driven by my commitment to advancing student success and institutional excellence.My professional interests include student affairs, assessment, organizational research, ministry, leadership training, and development. Outside of work, I am passionate about social media, travel, and cheering on the Seahawks.
