Naturally curious, analytical, eager to learn and ready to help others, I am a problem solver at heart. My military experience and educational background have strengthened my abilities to research, organize, communicate, collaborate and lead others. In my current role as a Systems Administrator, these skills and abilities are an integral part of my daily work assignments and responsibilities. Helping others and working as a team are important to me. From childhood volunteer work with the scouts, to working with the Red Cross and the local County Park rangers as an adult; to teaching, life guarding, military service and working in IT, helping others is, and has been, a rewarding and fulfilling experience in my life.In the world of technology, a passion for lifelong learning and the ability to be a self-starter are essential. In my previous position as an IT consultant, I took the initiative to self-learn several technologies, to include PowerShell scripting, in order to become more proficient in systems administration. As I continue my career in the IT profession, I strive to further enhance professional development by learning new technologies and keep current with the latest developments in IT. My diverse background, coupled with my abilities to work with others as a team, problem solve, communicate and help others, would be a strong asset to your organization.
