Planning, development, and oversight of four non-profit residential community corrections facilities in Colorado, located in Jefferson, Weld, and Pueblo Counties. Serve as a principal liaison between the organization and the State Office of Community Corrections, local government agencies and the community, in all matters related to community corrections and business operations. Provide advice and consultation regarding community corrections issues and serve as an expert in the field with respect to sentencing alternatives and community corrections policies and practices. Oversee the contracting process, Requests for Proposals, as well as vendor contracts and MOU's. Oversee the organizations budget process, including preparation of the annual budget, decision items and other documents related to the creation, monitoring, and revision of the budget; provide projections of resource utilization based upon constantly changing parameters. Create and administer the organization's Strategic Plan, including organizational and policy development.

Manage the organizations' performance improvement and quality improvement activities to enhance the quality and safety of the program; provide analysis of performance improvement activities and the program’s benchmarks for the provision of high quality, cost-effective care to meet or exceed regulatory requirements. Annually review and revise QAPI plan including quality indicators, worksheets, and monitoring tools; designs data collection procedures, methods, and systems to track and validate findings; coordinate development of Corrective Action Plans for negative trends with a goal to improve the quality process and quality of resident oversight. Assist in the development of policy and procedure, including revisions as appropriate based upon dynamic performance factors. Responsible for promoting and fostering compliance in the workplace. Communicate expectations to employees regarding compliance-oriented behavior in the workplace. Model and adhere to the mission and philosophy of Community Corrections and Intervention Community Correction Services; responsible for complying with all applicable compliance laws and regulations, as well as all program and corporate compliance policies and the code of conduct. Demonstrate adherence to all compliance policies and procedures and the code of conduct. Ensure staff follows all policies, procedures and legal mandates including HIPAA, client confidentiality, releases of information, protected health information (PHI) and client files, and takes appropriate coaching, counseling and disciplinary action to reinforce staff compliance. Supervise Quality Improvement and EBP Specialists whose activities include data submission for all programs outcome measure implementation, audit readiness, documentation compliance and quality training efforts.

Manages the day-to-day operations and provide daily support to subordinates ensuring quality and budget performance. Monitor the budget and operating metrics while diagnosing and improving processes, procedures, and performance. Oversee personnel needs of the company including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Utilize evidence-based programs and methods to reduce recidivism, and effective stewardship of public funds. Direct a unified correctional system that is responsible for the care, custody, and control of all pre-trial detainees, sentenced individuals (regardless of sentence length or crime), and offenders on probation, parole, and electronic monitoring.
