Summit Salon Business Center continues to grow in amazing and inspiring directions. With every new division comes a renewed perspective and a new opportunity for our SSBC brand to evolve with it. As Creative Manager I work with company leaders to propose, establish, and maintain visual and verbiage standards in the print, social, presentation, and video realms so that our company, customers, and partners receive clear and consistent messages through all channels.

I work closely with SSBC's premier salon industry leaders as well as their team of 50 plus Summit Salon Consultants to create materials that support SSBC's engaging and impactful training materials. Areas of focus include products, curricula, and services created specifically to lead "Exceptional Salons to Tremendous Heights." Responsibilities include: packaging, advertising, brochures, sell sheets, catalogs, brand development/monitoring, as well as collaborating on the ever-evolving web, email, and social integration of the SSBC message. It is truly one of the most engaged, passionate, and dedicated group of professionals I've ever had the privilege to work with and I feel fortunate to be part of the team!

From inspiration to implementation... I collaborate with passionate individuals and companies to create timely, unique, strategic, and cost-effective communication solutions. Finished designs and materials are prepared and delivered through a variety of media types including: printed materials, emails, presentations, retail signage, websites, and social media. Each day brings new ideas and opportunities to life... which is what I love best about my profession and the dedicated clients I serve!

Responsible for helping to clarify, create, and integrate new concepts into Salon Development's salon-specific training and curriculum initiatives. From early brainstorming through to the creation, completion and trademark registration. SDC's training materials incorporate a wide range of deliverables... from handouts, presentations, and web posts... to CDs, DVDs and textbooks. I also maintain/update the SalonDev.com website and email list using WordPress and Constant Contact.

Oversaw a team of 4 designers while working closely with production, online, sales, and marketing departments to maintain ad quality under tight deadlines. Created spec campaigns for potential clients as well as adapting existing campaigns to fit the audience and publication specifications. Helped to concept and implement programs and campaigns designed to leverage the City Pages brand and the various sections existing within the print and online realms.

Oversaw a team of 6 designers on a large grocery store account. Responsible for collaborating with the store marketing department on outdoor, print and instore campaigns. Worked extensively with photographers and food stylists to create weekly feature photos. A time critical, quality crucial position.

Oversaw the concepting, design and production of a wide variety of clients and applications. From packaging to van graphics to catalogs. Worked with vendors and clients to make sure all specifications and details were covered. Clients included Jostens, HB Fuller, Minnetonka Brands, Burks Bay and WizardWorks.

Worked with student designers and marketing staff to concept, design and implement a wide variety of campus materials. From concert/speaker brochures and posters, campus catering menus and price guides and other special event materials. Responsible for working with printers/vendors to make sure all materials met the specifications desired as well as the budget.
