My role involves extensive travel to provide on-site support and manage hardware and software deployments.Key Responsibilities include:Technical Support and Documentation:- Provide comprehensive technical support to team members and departments.- Document hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals.- Conduct onsite analysis and resolution of desktop and mobile device problems.- Recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repairs for remote users.Acquisition & Deployment:- Coordinate the acquisition and installation of hardware and software.- Perform PC, hardware, and peripheral equipment upgrades and repairs.- Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user laptops, mobile devices, printers, and related hardware and software.Operational Management:- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the firm's local and remote computing environment.- Respond to technical issues via calls and emails.- Develop and maintain an inventory of monitors, keyboards, laptops, printers, and other components.- Install operating systems on laptops and configure mobile devices with firm email and applications.- Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.- Manage user account passwords, including changes, resets, and unlocks.- Oversee the firm's mobile device plans, including device setup, upgrades, and service adjustments.- Collaborate with a team to schedule and perform video conferences using Teams and other conferencing platforms.In this role, I leverage my technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure our firm's technology infrastructure operates smoothly, supporting our legal professionals in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
