I support people on their path of healing, growth and transformation with an integrated approach that blends aspects of yogic wisdom, depth psychology and the shamanic/archetypal worldview. I have extensive training in accessible and therapeutic yoga, somatic mindfulness-based psychotherapies, and am a certified practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry, a trauma and addiction-focused approach to therapy developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. In addition, my work is informed by over 25 years of exploring various mystical and shamanic traditions and 10 years of ceremonial use of plant medicines.My intention is to help people move beyond the limiting thoughts and beliefs that cause unnecessary suffering and keep them from realizing their full potential. The work happens in what I call a "medicine space", a field of presence, compassion and unconditional acceptance in which your authentic self can come forward. I provide my clients with resources to develop a daily ritual of self-care and self-reflection with the goal of them to support their process of healing and transformation.I host the Medicine Path Podcast and have authored three books: Drugs, Drums & Dreams: Depth Psychological Perspectives on Shamanic and Psychedelic Healing (2021); Yoga & Plant Medicine: Integrating Yoga & Psychedelics for Your Healing, Growth and Transformation (2019); and Harmonic Movement, a yoga home practice manual (2016).
