Develop and maintain a knowledge base and a leadership role on relevant and emergent synergistic technologies, complementing this with a specific commercial focus. This role featured three distinct areas of responsibility, and resulted in a number of key achievements, outlined below:Health & Safety:• Took sole responsibility for and ownership of Health & Safety management• Developed & implemented a complete Safety Management System, in line with the OHSAS 18001 industry standard• Undertook training specific to the discharge of duties under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015• Arranged and reported upon an external expert review of the safety of EV charging infrastructure assets and potential risks to the public.Infrastructure & Technology• Investigated, diagnosed and resolved deeply-rooted manufacturer defects in charging equipment, resulting in a significant improvement in reliability and reduction in out-of-service "down time", and the resulting report was disseminated to maintenance contractors to improve service provision• Played a significant role in the 2nd largest migration of charge points to a new back office system. This involved type-testing of the proposed "switch-over" solution for 3 different charge point models, and the pre-onboarding of critical infrastructure to de-risk the change process.• Presented at PlanGrid EV, Dutch DSO ElaadNL’s annual talks series in Arnhem and also chaired the “Regulatory Challenges” panel of the IEA Task 28 conference.Business Development:• I was the lead author of a significant amount of content submitted in all tender responses, including topics related to:o Technical aspects charging infrastructureo Environmental managemento Health & Safety managemento Maintenance regimes and methodologieso Installation methodologies• Engaged with key stakeholders in cities, local authorities, automotive OEMs, government agencies and potential business partners• Constructed detailed techno-economic models of EV charging service provision to underpin understanding of the relevant business case.
