The Epic Digital Program Director leads the Digital Tower for the Epic build, testing, and post go live aftercare. From the very beginning Workflow Walk-Throughs of the Epic Project, the Digital Tower is responsible for the core IT&S applications of Epic for Provider & Patient Experience, Telehealth, Care Everywhere and community outreach with Link.Provider Experience: Haiku & Canto are physician oriented mobile applications that give the power of Epic in the palm of a Clinicians hand. Additionally, Rover extends the capabilities of Hyperspace into the hand of our nursing staff. This also allows for barcode med administration for the safety of our patients. Right Place, Right Time, Right Patient.Patient Experience: MyChart - this will be a comprehensive patient portal for the health system. Consolidation of a plethora existing legacy portals, into a more powerful application which puts the power of the medical chart in the hands of our patients.Telehealth : Looking Glass - is the built by Epic telehealth platform. This will allow for our patients and staff to connect natively through both Hyperspace and MyChart. Care Everywhere : The sharing of a patient's record electronically when patient is at another organization and requests it to be shared.Care Link: The ability of community practices, billing vendors, schools, snf, prison, and more to connect to our organization to find valuable information about the patient in their office, and the ability to send referrals and lab work electronically.In addition to leading the team charged with building and maintaining these applications, this position is also involved with the Archiving of legacy data systems such as Allscripts, Cerner, GE Centricity, TDS and more!
