Currently working as a Management Trainee within Tubes and Cores Division of Sonoco at the Dalton, Georgia plant. In my time as management trainee I have worked as a production employee, quality technician, safety coordinator, production scheduler, and supervisor. I have set up a VMI process with a customer to manage inventory levels and supply them with the materials they need on a regular basis. I have taught the process to other employees and it has resulted in a 50% reduction in materials on hand for the customer. I have assisted in the project management of the consolidation with Dalton Paper Products. I built and maintained Gannt Charts for the consolidation of the two companies as well as the machinery moves. During the consolidation I also did research on both plants products to ensure a successful transition of cost and quality on similar products. As a supervisor, I manage Human Capital to optimize productivity and promote professional growth for employees.

Worked as part of a consulting team through the Moore School of Business with CCBCC in their Columbia Distribution Warehouse. The team developed an optimized warehouse layout and picking process that can be used across every warehouse within CCBCC. The model built will assist with future changes in SKU's as well as changes in volume.The project yielded an estimated savings of ~$75,000 for the Columbia warehouse and ~$1,500,000 for 20 warehouses.

I was put through a brief Management Training in order to understand how a Manager is onboarded and trained. I learned several skills as well as got a view into the training portion of the industry.
