Restructure the finance team, replacing the Corporate Controller and streamlining the closing process to significantly reduce the time needed for the closing cycle.Due to damages from Hurricane Sandy at the Company's NJ location I directed all aspects of closing the facility, including negotiating and managing demolition work, remediation of environmental contamination and the filing and negotiation of the insurance claim. Managed the negotiations and execution of a Purchase Option Agreement for the New Jersey property.Directed a review of the materials purchasing function, managed Vendor RFP process, consolidating Vendors and negotiated reductions in Companywide pricing.
