The ARRIS CPE Products Production Software Team designs and develops software and firmware objects required for production of advanced digital settop and gateway products. The Production Software Team is part of the CPE Products Hardware Engineering Team. We design and develop software/firmware objects required for production and deployment of advanced digital settop products. The department develops a variety of products, including cable, telco, IPTV settops, and gateways. Development is performed for and on Linux operating systems. The team also works closely with product development hardware engineers in the design, evaluation and test of all advanced settop and gateway platforms.

Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware interface changes.Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.Conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.Formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
