• Program director for the Exelis internal employee program known as Exelis Action Corps. With over 20,000 employees worldwide, Exelis is uniquely positioned to organize, lead, and participate in local volunteer projects.
• Create volunteer opportunities that have resulted in Exelis employees investing $500,000 in their local communities and impacting nearly 20,000 military veterans and their families in just 10 months
• Develop community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to support the strategic direction of Exelis Action Corps
• Oversee communication plans and media advisories to tell the story of impact to external shareholders and demonstrate the return on investment for senior leaders
• Coordinate activation strategies with Exelis internal departments, including human resources, executives, technology and divisions, to integrate employee giving campaigns and volunteer service into business operations
• Provide budget oversight and administer grant protocols and distribute nearly $200,000 in funding to nonprofits across the country

• Serve as the lead activation manager for the ITT Exelis Action Corps program, a $5 million initiative to engage employees in meaningful service to the military and veteran populations
• Project manager for the 2011 Starbuck’s Global Month of Service launch that activated over 60,000+ employees, in 30 countries, resulting in 156,000 hours of service and served as the catalyst for the current 2012.
• In 2010, developed and launched “Fidelity At Schools,” a 3 year, $2 million dollar, school transformation program with Fidelity Investments in 11 markets that included school partnership development, physical.
• Project director for the annual National Conference on Volunteering and Service volunteer projects component that engages over 500 volunteers every year
• Lead Community Design Days at schools that involve corporate partners, community leaders, teachers and students to design and execute volunteer projects that meet the school’s most critical needs
• Create innovative construction project ideas that are used by over 150 affiliates in their local communities

• Provided exceptional customer service to 80+ affiliates that comprised the largest geographic area in HandsOn Network
• Developed strong national partnerships between corporate sponsors, national nonprofit partners and local volunteer centers
• Served as a primary grant application reviewer for programs exceeding $3 million
• Ensured grant requirements compliance and implemented standard protocols to track milestone achievement
• Traveled to national corporate project sites to assist in organization and ensure the highest level of customer service to our clients
