I am seeking a position as a Superintendent in residential or commercial construction industry in the San Francisco Bay Area I graduated from ASU in Construction Management and Technology in Spring 2021. My goal is to work for a company in the field where the action is. I’m a hands-on type of person that works well in teams. One of my passions is welding and metal fabrication. Selecting the Construction Management and Technology program @ ASU was an easy decision. The program provides a foundation for students who wish to pursue careers as project managers, project engineers, estimators or schedulers and eventually become principals of firms engaged in the construction of industrial, commercial or residential projects. Here are some of the topics that are covered in ASU’s Construction Management and Technology major:-Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.-Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.-Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.-Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations.-Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.-Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.-Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.-Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.-Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.-Develop or implement quality control programs.
