(ZnO lightning arresters and polymeric insulators).\\Developed open cage platform(OCP/HDA) arrester platforms and qualified to IEC 60099-4. \\ Insourced arrester core from PBL partner into Shannon. Implemented a TEA(technology exchange agreement) & co-developed high field strength ZnO varistor with trusted Japanese partner. \\ Developed crack detection process and software logic used to detect damage during insulator and arrester crimping.\\ Developed and launched a competition database, co-ordinated competitor bench marking, intelligence feedback & distribution for insulator group.

\\ Introduced Pro-Engineer, ANSYS FEA and MOLDFLOW analysis software in Raychem development center in Shannon. Awarded patent for the development of a crack detection process for insulator crimping / swaging on composite cores. \\ Insourced insulator manufacturing from Nordic vendor to Shannon, establishing MFG processes, QA documentation, & qualification.\\ Implemented Energy BU stage gate NPI process for Shannon site. \\ Project managed insulator product developments for UK rail(A26) and utility markets.\\ Developed first CMIP(Crimped Mold in place) insulator products, aluminium & ferrous fittings. \\ Developed and implemented mold heating optimisation for thermoset molds, adopted BU-wide. \\ Technical vendor management for critical components, composite cores, silicone materials and crimping equipment.
