I directed the operations and maintenance of the largest installation in the US Army to ensure it is capable of supporting the rapid deployment of all assigned forces and the support of 280,000 beneficiaries.

I led an organization of 65,000+ personnel responsible for concept development, organizational design, manpower management, education and leader development, policy development and facilities design for all of the US Army’s Air and Missile Defense and Field Artillery forces. Provided vision, strategic guidance and prioritization of resources to ensure the organization was capable of providing highly competent personnel to man that force structure and drive the modernization of all weapons systems communications and IT for that force. Oversaw the operations and maintenance of the most active Air and Missile Defense and Field Artillery training installation in the world to ensure it was capable of supporting all assigned missions including experimentation with Electronic Warfare and Directed Energy programs.

I led an organization of 3,500+ personnel responsible for training readiness oversight and mobilization support for the worldwide deployment of more than 100,000 Army National Guard and US Army Reserve forces stationed in twenty-seven states and territories across the eastern half of the United States. Responsible for the personnel, material and training readiness of 6 Training Support Brigades with the mission of partnering with the Army National Guard and Reserve forces to increase their readiness for deployment.

Seoul, South Korea

I was the primary deputy (COO) to the Commander (CEO) of all Army Forces forward stationed in the Republic of Korea consisting of more than 20,000 personnel. I provided day-to-day leadership over a staff of more than 750 personnel. Supervised the execution of the organization’s Strategic Campaign Plan development, implementation and synchronization; the execution of the Training and Leader Development Program; the organization redesign and the Information Operations, Strategic Communications and Community Relations Programs. I synchronized and integrated training, operations and sustainment of all Army forces in support of the United States Forces Korea as critical component of the defense of South Korea. I served as the Army’s primary representative for interoperability between the US and South Korean Army forces.

I was the primary deputy (COO) to the Commander (CEO) of the Army’s only Airborne Division comprised of more than 19,500 personnel and having the requirement of deploying forces anywhere in the world within eighteen hours of notification and executing assigned missions in support of national interests. Provided oversight on all aspects material and personnel readiness; critical infrastructure maintenance, deployment, and redeployment of forces; Army Aviation Operations; Artillery training and readiness; logistics planning and operations; and the Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness Program.

Ft Sill, Ok

I directed all US Army Field Artillery School activities and served as the modernization proponent for the Army’s second largest branch, the Field Artillery. Responsible for the day-to-day management, leader development and institutional training of all Army, US Marine Corps and international Field Artillery leaders in attendance at the US Army Field Artillery School. Supervised resident and non-resident instruction for over 32,000 officers and enlisted students in 72 different courses. Led the Army’s modernization, organizational design, doctrine development and career and talent management for the field artillery.

I directed all strategic planning, operations, training and policy for the United States Army Reserve comprised of over 220,000 Soldiers and civilian personnel with an operating budget of $6+ billion. This encompassed the management of city-sized military commands including 28 subordinate organizations headed by 2-Star Generals. I was directly responsible for the development and implementation of the Army Reserve Training Strategy which revolutionized the structure and methodology for training Reserve Forces for world-wide deployment and decreased the post-mobilization training days by 50%.

Baghdad, Iraq

I synchronized all daily activities of a 200-person staff partnered with US Embassy, Iraq to employ political, economic, and informational means to assist the Government of Iraq in building security and advancing political, social, economic and infrastructure development. I directly supervised 12 separate departments to integrate their efforts in support of 15 Government of Iraq ministries and the advancement of US policy goals. I directed the personnel and logistical administration and management of a $12M budget and 18 contracts worth $32M. I also synchronized the management of the US Forces Iraq spokesman's strategic communications.

Camp Casey, South Korea

I led an organization of 3,500 US and South Korean Soldiers responsible for protecting the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Area from the threat of long-range destructive fires. I provided the vision, guidance and personal leadership to ensure the organization was trained, resourced and ready to execute a complex multinational defense plan on a moments notice. I managed an annual operating budget of $9M and sustainment of more than 1.07B in equipment and supplies.
