I have given recycling presentations to hundreds of people in different settings to bring awareness of what is currently being recycled, what are recycling contaminants, ways to improve home and business recycling methods and how to reduce waste costs by reducing, reusing or recycling items.

This volunteer position was to advise Lebanon high school students on career plan development related to personal goals and skills. Students learned how to access scholarship information and how to research funding options for their specific college education. I related my experiences to different types of colleges and trade schools that would interest a diversity of student’s career goals. I emphasized the importance of extracurricular school activities, volunteering opportunities, finding part-time jobs and joining clubs to differentiate themselves when applying for college scholarships. Success was measured on how students followed through with information and activities gained from the program.
