As a representative of Kelly Services, I provided accounting services at a privately-held insurance company including a portfolio of affiliate companies based in Sioux Falls, SD. During this temporary assignment, I reduce the month-end reporting cycle from 19 days to 5 days, developed and deployed new budgeting and cash flow tools including a monthly variance reporting system, and researched numerous tax related inquiries including management of the companies IRS Form 1099 reporting requirements.

Hedrick Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited, 25-bed critical access hospital with a service area that encompasses 55,000 people in 6 counties. In addition to the hospital, the organization operates multiple physician clinics and home care/hospice programs.

AccomplishmentsImplemented a multiphase information systems upgrade including the replacement of network hardware as well as clinical and financial information systems. Total cost of the project exceeded $1.7 million and provided HMC with an integrated information system.Selected and deployed a computerized maintenance management system. Work order turnaround time reduced to less than 48 hours for 95% of all work orders.
