Leadership role of a small satellite office. Run day-to-day operations. Various roles include managing a staff of 10 BIM specialist, senior architect and project manager on a variety of custom residential and commercial TI projects, plus general marketing and HR duties.

I am the division manager for VA+Our Denver based team of architecturally trained Building Information Modeling (BIM) professionals have worked alongside designers, architects and engineers on projects worldwide – refining our BIM workflows and outcomes to aid our partners’ successes and allow them to focus on critical design and client challenges.

Architectural internship completed during the course of college studies. I was one of four employees in this small firm. I was instrumental in implementing their first use of CAD, 3D modeling (using MicroStation) and in-house printing. This was the only place I was ever paid to put ink on mylar and operate a blueprint machine. I gained valuable experience being in the “real world.” My understanding of office politics, client relations and consultant coordination really began here.
