TOP QUALITY RESULTS WITH INCREASING VOLUMES AND TIGHT TURNAROUND TIMES: In first full year within the role, ranked in the top 20% of peers for accuracy of proposals, top 20% of volume of projects taken and top 20% for number of questions/problems solved and answered. I handled medical RFPs across all of Cigna's domestic group medical segments, submitted over 80% of proposals at least 24 hours in advance of sales and broker deadlines. RELATIONSHIP BUILDER: Worked with managers and peers alike in Underwriting, Sales, Presale and Account Management, to devise a pilot to improve the proposal process and product produced for brokers. The process required careful negotiation to secure buy in from all stakeholders who increased their time commitment to the proposal process in order to increase regional sales. FOUNDER/MANAGER: In January of 2013, co-founded Cigna Scholars. Cigna Scholars offers employees contemplating or currently enrolled in a higher-education program the opportunity to collaborate through mentoring, networking, and peer-to-peer support across the organization.
