Director Of Medical Staff Administration
CurrentAs the Director of Medical Staff Administration, I am responsible for the overall focus and administration of the operations of Medical Staff Services Office and activities involving credentialing, accreditation, and Medical Staff quality of care. As Director, I work collaboratively with the Chief Medical Officer, the Chief of Staff, Executive Management, Quality Services, Risk Management, and Business Development on all matters of the Organized Medical Staff and help facilitate their shared objectives and the mission of the hospital.Daily, I lead a team of Medical Staff Professionals and ensure they meet all regulatory and hospital requirements related to physician and advanced practice provider credentialing. I possess experience and knowledge of The Joint Commission and other regulatory standards that govern the Organized Medical Staff. I facilitate accurate and timely communications related to medical staff members to our Executive Management team. Additional responsibilities include facilitating committee meetings, developing policy, managing financial activities, and providing reports to hospital leadership.
