Recruited during the initial years of the company to help grow a successful Client Services practice, with responsibilities ranging from:• Project Management• Project Estimation• Architecture and Solutions Design• Methodology Development• Business Development CollaborationAs Senior Director of the Center of Excellence (CoE), I was responsible for:• Defining the division’s mission, responsibilities, and resourcing as the organization's thought leaders.• Developing and promoting the new CoE division globally both within the organization, and the external partner network.• Leading an International team of architects providing thought leadership both cross functionally throughout the organization and externally across the global Demandware (Salesforce Cloud) ecosystem.• Development of Best Practices, Whitepapers, and Internal / External Knowledge Sessions.• Development of internal solutions, tools and the company’s critical starting point for all ecommerce sites.• Developing new architecture approaches to optimize and modernize SiteGenesis as the platform and market needs evolved.• Review and provide best practice architecture designs & solutions to complex client requirements for projects being engaged by internal Client Services, as well as, external partners.• Content development & selection, planning and organizing all technology tracks & sessions at the annual company hosted XChange conference for 3 consecutive years. Technology tracks received the highest attendee scores of the conference.
