Design, build and manage Verizon’s next generation managed services platform. An extremely complex virtual environment spanning Test, Commercial and PCI Production environments and Public Sector Test, and Production in FISMA Moderate and FISMA High environments, comprised of hundreds of hosts and thousands of virtual machines that in turn support hundreds of thousands of managed devices across thousands of customers. Platform was selected as the standard for all new development and deployments in Verizon’s MNSO managed services. Successfully completed 4 major expansions of the platform without incident. Designing next iterative advancement in design to incorporate additional business requirements and capabilities.

Network Application Performance Management - Contact Center Solutions. Design and launch a new managed services platform providing end to end monitoring and insight. Monitoring and managing consumable services delivered to customer’s not just underlying devices and processes. Delivering business results by ensuring end user experience. Assist and support on-boarding for multiple fortune 500 customers. Influence design and direction to internal platform development continuing process improvement initiatives and enhancement releases. Worked with management to build a cross functional integrated support team to provide 24/7 365 Tier 1, 2, 3 & SME support across Windows, Linux, Solaris, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Network, Firewall and multiple applications to support multiple high touch clients with complete end to end support.

Principal Engineer focused on client delivery. Coordinate change activities, problem management and implementations across 8 internal towers. Manage multiple Active Directory environments, Exchange 2007, VMware ESX Farms and hundreds of physical servers encompassing 23 distinct and autonomous business units spanning 10 major sites throughout the US. As a Senior Engineer for Fannie Mae’s Wintel Division I was responsible for System architecture, design and implementation. Lead for Fannie Mae’s Single Family Mortgage business and e-Business division responsible for the management and coordination of all server related activities. I was responsible for ensuring operational discipline in products and projects adhering to best practices and standards in system design and integration. Develop the platform by eliminating single points of failure, improving performance and leveraging technologies to provide the most cost effective solutions. Develop Fannie Mae and Wintel policies and best practices working directly with business divisions, operations and multiple internal Fannie Mae support groups.  Consolidation Lead for Single Family Mortgage business and e-Business Division utilizing VMware ESX  Designed and Implemented Fannie Mae’s business production Active Directory encompassing 3 geographically dispersed sites and over 1100 servers across 13 business units.  Technical Lead, Yearly disaster recovery tests for e-business Developed and implemented separate consolidated infrastructures using Microsoft Clusters for SQL 2000 and Resilient file servers.  Technical Lead Wintel Storage Area Networks Implemented a Secure network separation strategy utilizing Citrix Secure Gateway Services. Technical Lead, Migration from NT4 to Windows 2000/2003.  Technical Lead, Migration from NT4 Domains to Windows Active Directory.

As the server operations team lead I was responsible for 6 engineers, 108 managed applications, 80 Servers and Level III support of 5000 users. I lead team meetings with HQ Divisions to determine tasking and resource requirements for projects and initiatives. I managed Level III support queues and escalation issues. I coordinated and provided support to the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Dept. of Transportation for the Coast Guard. As the System Administrator for CBF, I designed and implemented a Windows NT Network. Providing Systems, Network & Application support to users and was the Information Systems liaison for clients, coordinating joint projects and third-party vendors. Key areas of responsibility: NT 4.0 Network using a master domain model, Windows NT Workstation Support, Windows 95 /98 Support, Systematic Backups of all Severs & Data, Specialized Software support (CRS Software) for both internal users and clients. I researched documented & resolved Y2K Issues.

As the primary IT support for MCS I provided network and software support. Managed data exchange from MCS to its’ clients for specialized applications and maintained application servers at client sites.
