The Area Transportation Manager has responsibility to manage the Transportation functions of multiple RDC's to ensure productive relationships with the RDC’s teams, cross-docks, Members, drivers, Transportation Analyst, transportation clerical, equipment vendors, driver services, regulatory enforcement officials, 3rd party service providers, and commercial carriers to achieve the established cost & service goals. Encourage and facilitate service providers to operate a safe work environment. Manage daily operations assuring efficient delivery, monitor daily performance of routes, and manage quality improvement. Review service provider compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Analyze and report performance comparison to budgetary goals. Responsible for following company policy & procedures and ensuring associate awareness of the policies. Responsible for $20-24 million in Transportation expenditures.This position will support Transportation activities in our Corsicana, TX and Denver, CO & Atlanta Regional Distribution Centers.

Manage the Division's Regional Transportation activities to achieve the financial plan. Provide support to 6 domicile locations to include Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, Chattanooga, TN, Montgomery, AL, Tifton,GA, & Pensacola,FL.
