National Clean Investment Fund Program Manager, Electric Vehicle SolutionsSelf-Help Climate Capital Jan 2023 - PresentLeveraging a $2.3B National Clean Investment Fund EPA grant to a build a network of aligned partners including automotive OEMs, new and used car dealer networks, automotive lead generation organizations, rideshare companies, loan origination partners, EV incentive providers, and technology companies that can help us build a scalable program that reduces obstacles and friction for LIDAC EV buyers. Our goal is to create streamlined end-to-end platform solutions allowing LIDAC families to identify vehicles and dealers that meet their economic and functional needs, qualify for the NCIF subsidized loans as well as any federal/state/utility and/or other incentives, and purchase their selected EV to derive the corresponding financial and environmental benefits. Self-Help has teamed up with two other experienced nonprofit organizations to create Climate United, a collaboration focused on expanding the benefits of the clean energy transition—like cleaner air and lower energy bills—to all. We’re thrilled that Climate United has received a $7 billion award from the Environmental Protection Agency through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (https://www.epa.gov/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund/ncif-selected-applicant-details). With these funds, Climate United will finance the adoption of cleaner products and practices in ways that provide direct benefits to people’s lives. We're excited about activating a national network of lenders to offer affordable and accessible clean-energy lending, especially to communities that have been disproportionately harmed by climate change and pollution.
