Having sold my successful property management and leasing company I had a non-compete for property management. While house prices were at their lowest I worked with a select group of investors to purchase homes to turn into income properties. I created a strategy to identify properties of opportunity. I was also the project manager for the property renovations in order to achieve the greatest ROI based on the investors long or short term plans. Now that my non-compete is over my focus has shifted back to property management and leasing for both commercial properties (office, retail and industrial) and residential (single family) rentals. Currently I manage and lease a number of office buildings and retail centers along with multiple single family homes. I have successfully taken multiple vacant and run down multi tenant properties and, through planning and execution, turned them into viable income properties.

In 2002 I received my Broker's License and started my own company CR Property Services, Inc. It started as a commercial management, leasing and sales company. However, as the opportunity in the market presented itself we expanded into single family rental management and leasing. I managed all aspects including accounting, sales, leasing, property management and business planning. As we grew the business we reached more than 400 residential rental homes and more than a dozen commercial properties (office, retail and industrial) to manage. In addition, we provided leasing services. The company grew to oversee assets of more than $90 million. I led a team of 10 employees (management, leasing, and accounting). I worked with the team to handle due diligence for owners acquiring new properties and interacted with owners on a regular basis. I created marketing plans and the strategy to increase business opportunities to continue to grow the company. When the market and timing was right I sold the company.

I started and ran RBI's property management division through initiating the business from accounting to policies and procedures. Over the next several years as the company grew to managing 46+ shopping centers totaling more than 2 million sf of space. I lead the team of property managers as well as members of the accounting team. I was responsible for reviewing monthly and yearly reports and ensuring accuracy. My role not only included asset management but it also included handling of the due diligence during the acquisition of more than a dozen new properties and investor relations.
