After reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" in 9th grade, I planned to be a lawyer (abandoning the previous dream of playing centerfield for the Boston Red Sox) upon graduating college. A recession, a massive flood of Law & Order wanna-be's, and with the world wide web gaining universal acceptance opening up opportunities for curious, media/content hungry marketing educated people like myself, I pivoted to a truly exciting and exhilarating career in digital media and technology.Throughout my career, and at various times, I've:- Managed people, and been an individual contributor. I'm comfortable doing both.- Been employed at large established companies (some that are still around, and some that are not) and at dynamic small start-ups (again, some who are still around, some that are not). I'm comfortable in both types of environments.- Exceeded my goals doing sales and business development. I am comfortable doing both.- Closed deals in digital media, social media, SaaS, consumer generated content, mobile, sponsorships, video, DSP, programmatic, events and experiential. I love any and all ways I can help clients surprise and delight their customers and prospects in any and all audience environments.- Held Director, VP, and Manager roles. I don't care about job titles. I am moved by the opportunity to work for great companies with great products, with great leadership who attract great teams.
